The collaboration leveraged HEAR360's advanced spatial audio capture system, including the HEAR360 8ball, an Omni-binaural microphone, along with a proprietary software suite. This combination enabled a real-time spatial audio production workflow that was set to transform the viewing experience.

HEAR360 further developed the live Avid Pro Tools mixing workflow and integrated a Linux based live stream encoder. This integration facilitated a multi-channel, head-trackable spatial audio broadcast that matched perfectly with the 4K visual broadcast.

The Result

Through this strategic collaboration, Samsung was able to deliver an incredibly immersive 360 video live concert experience over LTE to Samsung mobile phones and web browsers through the Samsung VR platform.
