Panasonic Avionics celebrates first shipment of Astrova IFE monitors

Panasonic’s Astrova In-Flight Entertainment Systems

Panasonic Avionics Corporation (PAC) marked a major milestone this week, receiving its first shipment of new Astrova monitors bound for its launch customer, Icelandair.

The IFE system features the only OLED 4K screen that is HDR 10+ with high fidelity multi-channel spatial audio plus full cabin Bluetooth® and up to 100W of fast charging.

Astrova is Panasonic Avionic’s best-selling IFE system, with more than 40 airline customers to date. It features a modular design that allows airlines to make frequent updates to their seatback entertainment systems while keeping costs down.
